What to Bring

Situations are slightly different depending on clinical departments.
We explain details when we contact you about hospitalization.


  • ●Personal seal “Inkan”
  • ●Toiletries (Tooth Brushes, Toothpaste, Shaving)
  • ●Bath goods (Shampoo, Treatment, Body Soap)
  • ●Towels (Face towel, Bath towel, Bath mat)
  • ●Pajamas*
  • ●Inside Shoes with heels covered
  • ●Tissues
  • ●Basic items such as Chopsticks, Spoons
  • *Rental pajamas are available for 231 yen per day (210 yen for midwifery care clothing in the department of obstetrics).
  • *Beddings (blankets, sheets and pillows) are provided during your hospital stay.

Necessities for the person who concerned

  • ●Prescription Record (for those who are treated with medicines)
  • ●Maternal and child health handbook (for those who hospitalized for pediatrics and obstetrics)
  • ●Pacemaker notebook (for those with implantable pacemaker, defibrillator and stent)
  • ●False Teeth case (for those with denture)

Bring in need

  • ●Earphones (for watching TV in the ward)
  • ●Laundry Detergent
  • ●Cups, Tea, Coffee


  • ・Daily necessities are sold at a convenience store of Outpatient Ward.
  • ・Write your name on all your belongings.
  • ・We cannot compensate for lost, stolen or damaged in our hospital.
    To avoid theft, do not bring a large amount of cash and valuables.
    “Kyoto Chuo Shinkin Bank” and “Kyoto Bank” ATM, Post Office are located on the 1st floor of the Outpatient Ward.
