Emergency Medicine

Kyoto University Hospital is designated as an “Advanced Treatment Hospital” by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
We preferentially treat patients who transported by ambulance or who in need of advanced medical treatments or in serious condition.
Patients other than those mentioned above may wait a long time or may be refused consultation.

The following is a description of the medical bill for patients who consult with Emergency Medicine.

●Patients who do not have Referral Letter from other medical institution

First-visit Special Expenses: 7,700 yen

●Patients who consult emergency medicine after office hours.

Overtime Special Expenses: 11,000 yen
